In a statement released days ago, Henderson says about his fellow artist, Isaac Hayes, “Though we will truly miss his physical presence, Isaac left an enduring legacy, musical and otherwise, to be enjoyed and studied for generations… It is not everyday that an artist gets the privilege of being known as “Black Moses”. Isaac was the first at many things, but no one can lay claim to that title, he led us all into another realm when he did what he did.”
